Arcserve backup

Stop wasting time sifting through data with centralized management and storage resource manager (SRM) reporting. Monitor the status of all backup activities, find the nodes that are taking the longest, locate backed-up data, and track volume, disk, and memory usage on every production server.

Arcserve UDP

Prevent data loss and extended downtime across cloud, local, virtual, hyperconverged, and SaaS-based workloads using only one unified central management interface

ARCSERVE BACKUP

Stop wasting time sifting through data with centralized management and storage resource manager (SRM) reporting. Monitor the status of all backup activities, find the nodes that are taking the longest, locate backed-up data, and track volume, disk, and memory usage on every production server

Quickly restore individual application objects from Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft SharePoint

Incorporate sophisticated functionality into your VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer platforms. Simplify system management with a view of your entire environment and mitigate the risk of data loss on virtualized servers

Deliver faster, more efficient backups and restores with UNIX and Linux data movers for SAN-based backups

Increase reliability with smart restore capabilities. Redirect restore jobs to other media containing the same data without any manual intervention

Meet application-specific requirements with backup to disk, backup to tape, disk-to-disk-to-tape (D2D2T), disk-to-disk-to-cloud (D2D2C), virtual tape library (VTL), hardware snapshot support, multiplexing and multi-streaming

Arcserve Backup is a comprehensive storage management solution for distributed and multiplatform environments that can backup and restore data from every machine on your network, including those running Windows, UNIX, and Linux. It offers complete control and visibility from one management console, whether supporting small-scale or large-scale enterprise environments across different platforms and organizations.

Once installed, you’re able to create, manage and monitor Arcserve Backup jobs from one central location. Jobs are submitted on the primary server and can be run either locally on the primary server itself, or remotely on any of the associated member servers. Perform job operations such as backup, restore, merge, scan, migrate, copy, compare, and so on for all servers from the primary server. Monitor the job status of from the central job queue.

Central database management is easy with all jobs, sessions and media information stored in the centralized database. In addition, a central catalog file is created with descriptive information about each session and allows you to select the specific files and directories to be restored without having to query the database itself. When data needs to be restored, Arcserve Backup can quickly browse the content of each session in the catalog file from a single central location to locate the information.

With central reporting, you can launch and create scheduled reports for all servers in a domain from the primary server. Schedule, preview, print or email reports for all domain servers from the primary server.

Reduce your downtime from days to minutes, and validate recovery times and points (RTOs/RPOs) and service level agreements (SLAs) with automated testing and granular reporting

Restore faster with instant VM and bare metal recovery (BMR), local and remote virtual standby, application-consistent backup and granular restore, hardware snapshot support, and extensions delivering high availability and tape support

Accelerate time to value without the need for extensive training or costly professional services. Deploy in minutes and reclaim up to 50% more time

Bring efficiencies to your infrastructure by freeing up to 20x more storage capacity

Installation is done in a few clicks. Create data stores on the recovery point server, add the nodes you want to protect, a storage destination, and a plan.

Back up to either a local machine or a central recovery point server (RPS) with global, source-side deduplication. A destination can be an RPS, local folder, or remote shared folder. Add network CIFS/NFS shares, Office 365 Exchange or SharePoint online nodes, and create related tasks.

Perform jobs such as backup, virtual standby, and replicate. Perform a simple restore or a bare metal recovery.

Fully protect a broad range of platforms, including: Windows, Linux, Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business), Microsoft Exchange, MS SQL, file servers, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Active Directory, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, VMware vSphere (agentless), Microsoft Hyper-V (agentless) and Nutanix AHV.
